About Amanda Perry

I have been an artist for as far back as I can remember. As a child I spent the majority of my time in my little art room painting or drawing while all the other kids were outside with their friends. This was my way of dealing with a lot of dark experiences growing up.

Flash forward to recent years; I began to have a lot of pain and fatigue. Long story short, I ended up being diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis which forced me to change my life. I was unable to do many of the things that I was used to doing which left me with more time to focus on what has always been most important to me - creativity. I decided to focus on making my art a career so I am currently attending college for Art and Design.

I get inspiration from the trees, rocks, and animals in nature. I also love the imaginative world of fantasy with fairies and dragons. I suppose you could say I'm a little bit of a contradiction but I'm cool with that!  These two parts to my personality collide with one another and create the artwork you see ! I can only hope it brings you the joy that it has brought me.
